IQ System is seeking highly skilled and motivated Semiconductor Design Manager. The successful candidate will manage equipment engineers in multiple aspects of tool-hookup including interface with BIM modelers, process engineering, facilities, equipment suppliers, and subcontractors. Primary emphasis for position is first pass success for all tool installs, meet timelines, budgets, and execute as a primary leader for the organization. The role requires an individual with experience in global fab operations including equipment installations, process engineering, and technology transfers. This position requires the ability to work across divisions, gain cooperation, and have influence with both internal and external organizations.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Manage and lead tool installation equipment engineers
• Improve tool installs across organization is a key expectation for role
• Provide metrics to senior team on performance and address any gaps or delays
• Full ownership of tool installations, startup, and accountability of process equipment
• Error proof tool install with facilities, tool owners, and subcons for first pass success
• Skilled in managing multiple tasks and drive team culture of can do, must do, will do
• Step up to the plate with clear communication and find solutions prior to escalation
• Ensure integrity, safety, and focus on EHS standards in all aspects of team execution

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. (M.S. desired) Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical
• Minimum of 10 years related experience in semiconductor industry
• AutoCAD skills in design, 2D, 3D, and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Skilled in reading, translating and executing of schematic CAD designs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across multiple levels
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a global team and environment
• Minimal domestic and/or international travel may be required
• Construction and tool safety experience (gases, electrical, liquids, mechanical)
• Scheduling experience, Primavera, MS Project for tool and system installations
